About Facilitators

Cara Marie Piazza is a natural dyer and artisan working in New York City. She uses natural dye stuffs such as botanicals, plant matter, minerals, non-toxic metals, and food waste and treats her fabrics through alchemical dye sessions for her studio: Calyx Studios.

One Love Community Fridge works to connect, empower and engage the community through education and providing access to fresh, healthy food with no stigma.`

Pratt’s Textile Dye Garden serves as a resource for sustainability education and a hub for collaboration and experimentation within the Pratt and surrounding communities.
