Laing O’Rourke Middle East invites the CIOB's young professionals and students to a site visit of the recently Constructed 21.5MW Khazna Data Center in the Dubai Design District. Data Centers are a key component of the UAE’s digital infrastructure and are set to increase in terms of volume within the region with many new projects at the concept stage. These projects are extremely fast track and require strong competencies across many disciplines. Laing O’Rourke will explain the project's key challenges with their experience in this sector having completed 5 Data Center Main Contracts in the UAE since 2016 and over 20 successfully executed Data Center projects globally since 2006.
