About this Event
A sophomore in the Harvard-Berklee Joint Studies Program, Èbùn Oguntola is a composer, conductor, songwriter, music producer, and multi-instrumentalist. Her works have been performed by the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, BIT20 Ensemble in the Bergen International Festival, Little Orchestra Society, Apollo Ensemble of Boston, Cincinnati Symphony Youth Orchestra, and Cincinnati Youth Choir, and her album This is America: An Anthology 2020 - 2021, reached No. 2 on the Billboard Traditional Classical Chart. She returns to Apollo for the world premiere of a new work. Apollo Ensemble assistant conductor, Reuben Stern, leads Bruch's Romanze for viola and orchestra with the winner of the MA Viola Society Competition, and the orchestra tackles Dvorak's powerful seventh symphony.
