About this Event
The aim of DVAA Under the Star is to bring our community together in unveiling the first episode of the newly created documentary series: Artists, Makers, and Neighbors . Filmed, edited and created by our Gallery Assistant, Liv Pancheri, Artists, Makers & Neighbors is a DVAA mini-documentary series exploring the diverse backgrounds, interests, and histories of the people who walk through the doors of DVAA. We will also be celebrating the work of our two graduating board members, Linda Dubin Garfield, and Sandi Neiman Lovitz, as the guests of honor.
Our fundraising goal is to reach at least $10k in both single and recurring donations. With the recent decreases in Philadelphia’s 2023 Arts budget (one million dollar decrease to be exact!), crowd-funded, member-based arts non-profits like DVAA needs help now more than ever.
