Lifeguard classes during Duval County Spring Break will be held March 8-12 from 9 am - 1:30 pm. This class is open to those with base access. It is not open to the general public.**Requirements:
- Students must be 15 years old or older to participate in the class.
- 300 yard swim. Must be consistent. Free or breaststroke only.
- 10 lb. brick test in 12 ft. diving well within 1:40 seconds.
- Tread water 2 min. no hands.
Price: $55
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be granted an American Red Cross 2- year certification in:
- Lifeguarding
- CPR/AED /Standard First Aid
Register at the Base Gym prior to first day of class.
