About this Event
Presenting Sponsor:
North Carolina is often touted as one of the best states for business. As more employers are drawn to Durham and Triangle, what steps are local leadership taking to prepare residents for the types of employment opportunities that will be available to them in the future?
Join INDY and The Assembly Network for a detailed conversation about the future of work in Durham. Staff reporters Justin Laidlaw and Korie Dean will lead the audience through a series of conversations with Durham Technical Community College President JB Buxton, City of Durham’s Economic and Workforce Development Director Joshua Gunn, and Head of Alliance Development at Novo Nordisk Nicole Niwa, three folks at the forefront of Durham’s economic future.
Doors open at 5pm with a program from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Afterwards, feel free to join your fellow attendees at The Waiting Room to continue the conversation.
There’s room for 99 attendees, so don’t miss a chance to secure your spot. All proceeds from the event support journalism at The Assembly.
