An evening in Durham with George Seay for a fascinating look at the upcoming US election, with a response from Dr. David Andersen
About this Event

You don't have to be American (or even politically-minded) to be struck by the spectacle that is the US presidential election - a kind of reality TV, but with global implications.

Join us for an evening in Durham with American political insider, George Seay for a fascinating look behind-the-scenes into the making of the next American president.

The evening will begin with an address by George Seay, followed by a response from Dr. David Andersen (Associate Professor in US Politics, Durham University). The evening will include audience Q&A followed by a buffet reception.

For interested guests, Durham Cathedral's evensong will immediately precede this event, beginning at 5:30 PM. All are welcome.

Please reach out with any questions, or difficulties booking through Eventbrite.

More about the Speakers:

George Seay is renowned Dallas, Texas-based businessman, co-founder and chairman of Annandale Capital, and conservative political leader who previously served as Texas finance chairman for Texas Governor Rick Perry's 2012 Presidential campaign and was a senior adviser to Marco Rubio's 2016 Presidential campaign. George also serves as chairman of the Clements Center for National Security.

Dr. David Andersen is Associate Professor of US Politics at Durham University. His research explores how people learn about politics, how what they learn influences what they believe, and how they act politically. He has published articles in prestigious academic journals, and has an extensive media outreach across the US and Europe.
