Coming soon to UW-La Crosse: The Department of Music is proud to present “Duos with Dave Marck” on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. in Annett Recital Hall, located in the Truman T. Lowe Center for the Arts. This free concert is open to the public and promises an evening of intimate, spontaneous jazz improvisation featuring world-class musicianship.The program will spotlight Dave Marck (a La Crosse native), a jazz pianist with 45 years of experience in New York City’s vibrant music scene, performing in duo settings with UWL Jazz Program Director Jon Ailabouni (trumpet) and Ailabouni’s immediate predecessor Dr. Jeff Erickson (saxophone), along with select jazz emphasis students from the university.
