Duo Syncopa! November 17, 2024 Seal Beach CA

Founded in 2017 by their mutual love for the music of Robert Schumann, Duo Syncopa has performed locally and nationally throughout the United States. A recent winner of the Beverly Hills National Auditions, they will be embarking on recitals of innovative programs throughout Southern California in the upcoming season. The name Syncopa derives from one of Schumann’s favorite compositional devices syncopation, which is a key element that both inspires and challenges the sensibilities of duo ensemble playing.
