Fernando and Fátima Corvisier are acclaimed Brazilian pianists whose distinguished careers blend performance, pedagogy, and research. Fernando Corvisier studied at institutions including the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris, the New England Conservatory, and the University of Houston, where he earned his Doctor of Musical Arts. He has performed with major Brazilian orchestras and internationally, and currently serves as Professor of Piano at the University of Sao Paulo, focusing his research on Brazilian piano music and duet repertoire. Fernando Corvisier is a Fulbright Distinguished Visiting Scholar this Fall semester at Yale University.
