About this Event
Step into the inaugural Dunia Dialogues: Mamas Who Move the World — a cultural circle where motherhood, identity, and leadership meet.
Curated by Teresa Temu, founder of Dunia Consulting LLC, this gathering brings together visionary Black and immigrant mothers whose leadership shapes communities across Columbus and beyond.
Set in the inspiring ABA Art Gallery, surrounded by African art and fashion, the program will weave keynote insight, panel conversation, and cultural expression into an afternoon of connection and thought-provoking dialogue.
What to expect:
- Keynote Address — State Representative Latyna M. Humphrey
- Panel Discussion — mothers in leadership across sectors and cultures
- Cultural Moments — a guided movement experience with Dr. Lucille Toth, exploring identity, memory, and belonging through the language of the body. This gentle, participatory session invites reflection and healing, rooted in cultural expression and the art of presence.
- Networking Reception — light refreshments, meaningful connections
Whether you’re a mother, community builder, or ally, you’ll leave inspired, connected, and part of an ongoing conversation about leadership and belonging.
