Join the RPC in our Dungeons and Dragons launch party and tournament. Players will band together in parties of 3 or 4, and will battle for the highest scores on games of alternating age and complexity. The players in each round with the lowest scores will receive one strike, and will play until they are eliminated when reaching five. We will at the conclusion, take the top 12 or 50% to participate in match play final battle.During the tournament, players will get a chance to roll for a variety of advantages and choices. Check back as we add some D&D excitement!
Additional Tournament Details
Qualifying:
Players in 3rd or 4th place in qualifying will receive a strike.
Players play until they reach 5 strikes
Play continues until all but the top player is eliminated
Finals:
Top 12 or 50% of players qualify for A division
Top seeds may have a first round bye.
Rounds of 3 games each, eras of games in each round will be determined by dice rolls.
Next 6 players will play ladder format for B division finals
Schedule:
12:00 - Doors open and signup starts
1:00 - Qualifying Begins
5:00 - Approximate end of qualifying / 1 hour dinner break
6:00 - Approximate start of finals
There will be a $5 tournament fee that will cover pizza, ifpa fees, and additional tournament prizes..
