About this Event

Unravel stories, roll dice, create characters, and have a blast as we teach you how to play in the comfort of our cosy café with the help of an experienced Dungeon Master who has been introducing new players to the game for decades.
How does it work?
This event operates using a one-shot system, which means you can choose which Thursday D&D events you want to attend! It's the perfect format for players who are simply looking to give D&D a try or players who may not be able to participate every week (although you would be very welcome to). Each Thursday session contains a whole story, from beginning to end, that you can use to advance your character's level and create your own story.
What do you need to play?
We provide everything you need, from books and dice to pencils and paper. The only thing you need to bring is an interest in playing Dungeons & Dragons. If you really want to, though, you are, of course, very welcome to bring your own D&D accessories.
For those of you who have some experience with D&D, you may want to create your characters before coming to the event. We utilise the D&D Adventurer's League rules for running our games, and you can find details on building your character at the link below. This isn't necessary, however, and we can help you create a suitable character before the event or provide you with a pre-generated character to get started instantly!

6-7pm each week is also available to players who want to creat their own characters beforehand but need some help and guidance to do that. Pop along during this time to craft your character before playing begins at 7pm.

PLEASE NOTE - If you are coming with a pre-existing character then they cannot be above a level 3 to take part in these sessions!
