Dungeon Master Academy: Level 1 Running your first AdventureYou’ve heard of Dungeons & Dragons, maybe even rolled a few dice, but now it’s time to step behind the screen. In this three-hour Level 1 workshop, you’ll learn how to play a basic game, understand what the Dungeon Master really does, and discover where to find the best tools and resources to make running your own games simple and fun.
Led by Lesley Moody a seasoned DM, this session will walk you through everything from storytelling basics to encounter prep, pacing, and keeping your players engaged. You’ll leave with practical tips, free resources, and the confidence to start your own D&D group. Whether you’ve played a little or are brand new to the world of tabletop adventures, this session will help you level up your skills and bring the magic of D&D to your community. (This session is geared toward people who have little to no experience behind the DM screen).
(For now, this event is ages 16+. We will look into hosting DM training for Youth at a later date, but this session is geared toward adults)
