Green Drinks Canberra is a monthly event for socialising and professional networking, held at King O'Malley's Irish Pub in the heart of Canberra.July 2024's guest speaker is dung beetle expert John Feehan.
John Feehan was a member of the CSIRO team tasked with introducing bovine dung beetles into Australia. From 1963 to 1991, John and the CSIRO team in the dung beetle program introduced dung beetles into Australia. Since then, he has continued this work through the soil care management consultancy business SOILCAM.
John will discuss his work with the Green Drinks Canberra audience, and will bring along some beetles for the attendees to see up close!
This event begins at 5:30pm, with John's talk beginning at roughly 6:00pm, followed by audience Q&A.
