About this Event
Step into the extraordinary world of choral music as the Singers of Dunedin Consort - featuring many Dunedin Consort soloists, and director Nicholas Mulroy take you on an extraordinary journey which blends the sacred harmonies of the Renaissance with modern day choral masterpieces. Inspired by the season of Lent, this intimate concert includes songs by 16th & 17th century composers Vicente Lusitano, Orlando Gibbons, and William Byrd which interweave beautifully with 20th & 21st century compositions from Francis Poulenc, Imogen Holst, Cheryl Frances-Hoad, and James MacMillan.
Discover more about the music with a pre-concert talk in which Nicholas Mulroy is 'in conversation' at 6pm.
