DUNDEE COURIER: Production of a Great Daily Newspaper (1911)

At 12 noon on Thursday 20th March The Friends of Dundee City Archives, with the help of Dundee Central Library and the National Library of Scotland, will be showing a half hour film commissioned to celebrate the Dundee Courier's 50 years as a daily newspaper.
The film illustrates the various newspaper activities from reporting, editing, setting the linotype to the final printing, with an introduction by Iain Flett. Entry is free but places should be booked via Eventbrite or by calling (01382 431500).
