Dukes of Note are a Carnival Rock band from Cape Town combining elements of Balkan rhythms, gypsy punk, vintage blues and swing with good old-fashioned rock ‘n roll; an eccentric blend of dark yet playful theatrics makes for a truly unique performance, at home on any stage, big or small.

About 'DUKES OF NOTE'
After recording their debut EP titled “Welcome to the Carnival” in 2017 with international producer, Graham Ward, at Wardwide Music Studios, The Dukes took hold of the reins on their creative projects and started writing, recording, performing and exploring the versatility of their sound. In 2019 they released a brand-new stand-alone single “The Devil’s Playground”, which saw the band explore a more raw and live style. From the outbreak of the global pandemic to the re-opening of the entertainment industry, the band has reshuffled members & now continues to work on new ideas as they reinvent themselves with fresh energy!
The Dukes are now working with like-minded brands, hosting live events and are determined to continue building their empire as a tangible live act in-person & online.
