The Duddon Valley is a wee bit quieter than much of the rest of the Lakes but there's still loads to get after. Lots of good climbing with shorter multis on Wallowbarrow and then crags on crags on crags, with Stonestar, Pen, Burnt Crag, Seathwaite Buttress, Sunny Pike all on offer with loads more besides - and almost all of them less than half an hour approach. The bouldering circuit is fab, too, and Dow, The Old Man, Harter Fell, and Seathwaite Tarn are lovely walks from the Valley, if that's your thing.Turner Hall Farm looks to be the campsite https://turnerhallcampsite.co.uk/. It seems to be slim pickings in terms of camping so it might be wise not to leave it to the last minute to book a pitch (but if anyone knows of another site please drop a comment below.
Recommendations for climbing and other larks are very welcome.
