Free dog & cat food on the first Friday of every month for residents of Navarro county provided by the Humane Society of Navarro County. Distribution begins at 10am and usually ends around 11!
Ducky's Pet Food Friday is a program provided by the Humane Society of Navarro County. It aims at distributing supplemental meals to pet owners in need in Navarro County. It routinely helps over 50+ families and 400+ animals every month.
Over the years the program has evolved into a monthly distribution of dog and cat food. The biggest source of income is fundraisers started on Ducky's (an eleven year old shih-tzu) social media pages. His efforts have raised over $10,000 for the program; thus inspiring the name
"Ducky's Pet Food Friday".
