Come join fellow Democrats in supporting Keep Maury Beautiful's annual Duck River Cleanup. This is an opportunity to live our values and serve our community.We are recruiting volunteers to help Keep Maury Beautiful clean up the Duck River on Saturday, September 20. Please arrive between 7 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
If you have a canoe or kayak, you can bring it; otherwise just bring yourself and a willingness to help clean up nature. Lunch will be provided afterward.
There are several ways to help:
* Clean up the River (on foot or in a boat)
* Help register/check-in attendees at the Riverwalk Park Rotary shelter.
* Help prepare/serve lunch to volunteers.
* Donate garbage bags or a door prize for volunteers.
