We are back
The Dublin Smartphone Film Festival is organizing a Smartphone Filmmaking workshop this July in Dublin. This workshop is geared towards beginners who are interested in learning how to shoot and edit a film on a phone. We have teamed up with several equipment and app manufacturers, such as Dreamgrip and SVASSETS, to show filmmakers how to capture high-quality and engaging stories using just their smartphones.
Duration: 5-6 hours
The workshop will begin at 10.00 am.

CAPCUT (Needed for the class) or Adobe premiere pro for mobile (not needed)

How to script and storyboard your film.
How to edit using your smartphone.
How to capture quality sound using your smartphone.
What are the best equipment and apps at your disposal to create the most engaging film possible.
Shoot a short film based on a script and storyboard
Examine different lighting techniques to emphasis tone in a film
Examine camera placement and framing to tell a story
Run a efficient film set with defined crew rolls aimed at meeting a specified schedule and budget
Understanding how to work with actors on set and how to correctly communicate with a film crew
Capturing audio onset and in various locations
Data wrangling and the successful handling of film footage onset
