It is time for the yearly Thunderstriders Beer Mile!🍻 We meet at Professor Ostenfeld Kollegiet (Rævehøjvej 36) at 17:30. The event will consist of 2 heats, 1 qualification heat and a finals heat. You bring your own beers, which means if you are planning on making it to the finals, you need to bring at least 8 beers. It will be tons of fun, we will be playing our legendary Thunderstriders mix on the soundbox, so you are more than welcome to show up and cheer for the competitors even though you are not competing yourself!💨🏃♀️➡️🥳**Beer Mile Rules:**
1. **Distance:**
- The race is 1 mile long, which equals 4 laps around a standard 400-meter track.
2. **Beers:**
- Participants must drink one full beer (330 ml) before starting each lap. This means you drink 4 beers total.
3. **Beer Specs:**
- Beers must be at least 4,5% ABV (alcohol by volume).
- It must be a fermented alcoholic beverage brewed from malted cereal grains and flavored with hops (sugary drinks does not suffice)
- The beer should be in a standard can or bottle.
- It must be consumed within the designated "chug zone" before each lap.
4. **Drinking:**
- You must finish the beer entirely before starting your lap.
- No tampering with the beer (e.g., no puncturing the can or bottle to drink faster) or using straws.
5. **Penalties:**
- **Puking Rule:** If a participant throws up during the race, they are disqualified.
- Leaving any liquid in the can or bottle after chugging results in penalties or disqualification.
6. **Timing:**
- The clock starts with the opening of the first beer and stops when the participant finishes the fourth lap. Se mindre
