Oct. 15, 7-9:30pm, Diamond Elementary School, 4 Marquis Drive, Gaithersburg
Callbacks (if needed, by invitation only) Oct. 18, 1-4pm, Location TBD
PERFORMANCE DATES:
Weekend performances February 6-22, 2026 at Arts on the Green, Gaithersburg Arts Barn, 311 Kent Square Road, Gaithersburg, MD.
REHEARSALS:
Rehearsals will begin in November and take place weeknights (Mondays & Thursday) and Saturday afternoons. They will be held at venues in Montgomery County, primarily in Gaithersburg. There are no rehearsals Thanksgiving weekend or December 23-January 1.
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
Please prepare 16 bars of music in the style of the show. Songs from the show are permitted. Accompaniment will be available. Accompanist tracks are ok as long as you bring your own speaker. Performers must be 18 years or older. Each actor will be asked to choose a cold reading when they sign in. There are no dance auditions.

Email the desired day and time to [email protected]. You won’t hear back unless there is a problem with your requested audition time. Please be prepared to list any conflicts you may have November 1-February 22.
ABOUT THE SHOW:
Company is a musical that follows Bobby, a single man surrounded by married people, on the eve of his 35th birthday. The musical is considered one of the first popular concept musicals and is notable for lacking a linear plot. Instead, it follows Bobby in a series of disparate scenes as he watches the interaction of his married friends and debates whether or not to settle down himself.
Music includes Another 100 People, Side by Side, and The Ladies Who Lunch.

Robert
The story's protagonist, he is a keen observer who appears happy but holds pain in his heart. He is the only one of his friends still single. Terrified of marriage and fears a lifelong loneliness.

Harry's hyper critical wife. She is an avid learner of karate and tends to overeat. Open, accepting, and full of love.

Sarah's husband. He is a recovering alcoholic continually falling off the wagon. Believes the advantages of marriage outweigh the disadvantages.

A delicate southern belle. Peter's wife and ex-wife. Motherly in her affections towards Robert.

A frantic neurotic engaged to Paul but terrified of marriage. After a mental breakdown, she finally realizes that Paul is, in fact, her soulmate.

Amy's fiancé. Mildly clingy, but patient to her neurotic nature. He is fully committed to the idea of marriage and encourages Robert to do the same.
