Learn how to create one of a kind images (almost) like Rembrandt in drypoint with printmaker Dana Harris Seeger
About this Event

This one day intensive workshop will introduce students to the print shop including how to create an intaglio plate with acrylic and drypoint. We will combine age old methods and contemporary materials to create unique prints using an intaglio method without harmful chemicals. Learn how to create stunning images through layers of ink, painting and carving directly onto the acrylic plate.  With no experience necessary, this is a great intro into other printmaking techniques.

Materials Provided

Plates for printing on: we will use acrylic, but you can also use copper or zinc

Paper for printing on: we will use Rives BFK, any heavy weight rag paper like Arches will work as well
