Drypoint etching is the process through which an artwork is incised into a plate, creating a burr which will hold ink. This plate is then inked up by hand and printed through an etching press.
Shiori will be introducing Japanese symbolism into the process, as a form of inspiration. You will be able to print a small run using your plate, in a colour of your choice.
