Quick bio.
Agnes Liut is an accomplished arts educator with over 20 years of experience in the field. Throughout her career, she has been deeply passionate about the transformative power of creativity and has dedicated her work to helping others explore and develop their artistic skills. Her extensive background spans various art forms, with a particular focus on hands-on, tactile mediums.
Since 2018, Agnes has specialized in teaching fiber arts workshops, where she shares her expertise in everything from spinning and weaving to felt-making and dyeing. Her approach to teaching is both patient and encouraging, ensuring that every participant feels empowered, regardless of their skill level. Agnes has developed a reputation for creating engaging, welcoming spaces where learners of all ages can explore their creativity through the tactile process of working with fibers.
What to expect.
There's nothing quite like handmade creations, and learning together in person makes it even better! If you’ve always wanted to learn to try the eco friendly alternative benfits that dryer balls have to offer, this is your hands on chance to aquire some!
In this 150-minute session, Agnes will teach you just how easy and therapeutic it is to create your very own dryer balls. You’ll also learn the benefits of using dryer balls, as well as the environmental advantages of wool dryer balls versus traditional fabric softeners or dryer sheets. By the end of the workshop you'll have your own set of 3 dryer balls and a world of knowledge about their benefits.
Agnes will provide all materials— such as wool roving in various colours and scissors—so you don’t need to bring anything. With a maximum of 10 participants, the workshop ensures personalized attention and is open to anyone 13 years and up!
Who can join?
Anyone 13 years and older can join this class, no prior skills are needed.
