No ice? No problem! Hosted by UMD’s RSOP and USA Ice Climbing, join us for our 7th annual dry tooling competition. New to dry tooling? This is a great opportunity to try out ice tools in a controlled (and warm!) environment. Dry tooling is the art of climbing rock or artificial surfaces using ice climbing tools, and this competition will push climbers to their limits with a variety of routes designed specifically for this style. Whether you’re an experienced ice climber or brand new to dry tooling, this competition offers fun, challenge, and community for all levels.
Divisions will be based on wingspan and beginner vs advanced entries.
