Course contentsStructural, functional and topographical anatomy of muscles, nerves, vessels and joints, physical examination and diagnosis of trigger points, foundations of dry needling (techniques, indications, contraindications, side effects, complications, safety rules)
Practical exam: Assessment and treatment with dry needling of two muscles, one muscle of the extremities and the other of the trunk or head with practical questions related to the situation. The muscles of all the DGSA courses (Top 30, Advanced Upper Body, Advanced Lower Body) and the muscles from the self study can be part of the exam.
Procedure of the Exam
Practical exam: 30 minutes on a fictitious patient
