Ebb & Flow Brecon – 'Dry January, Real Conversations: Alcohol, Autopilot & Choosing Yourself in 2026'
Dry January, Real Conversations: Alcohol, Autopilot & Choosing Yourself in 2026
An evening of truth-telling, reflection, and reconnection for women who want more clarity, more energy, and a healthier relationship with themselves (and with alcohol) as they step into a new year.
At this special Ebb & Flow event, we bring you two powerful and honest talks:
Living Sober, Living Life
with Donna Elliott
After years of using alcohol to cope with loss, exhaustion, and the pressure of holding everything together, Donna reached a quiet turning point that changed everything.
In this deeply honest and heartfelt talk, Donna shares her journey through grief, self-discovery, and sobriety from navigating family illness and major life transitions, to rebuilding life with clarity, compassion, and strength.
Living Sober, Living Life is for women navigating change, resilience, and rediscovery and explores what happens when we stop numbing, start feeling, and choose ourselves… one day at a time.
Raw, real, and ultimately uplifting, this talk invites open conversation, connection, and hope and reminds us that it’s never too late to begin again.
The Homecoming: A Reset for 2026
with Rebecca Thomson — The Wine O’clock Woman
We start the year with good intentions — go to bed earlier, eat better, move more — and then by mid-January, those routines begin to slip.
This talk isn’t just about alcohol.
It’s about the gap between the woman you want to be… and the woman who slips into autopilot and puts herself last.
If you’ve ever thought:
“I know what I should do — so why don’t I do it?”
This is for you.
In just 30 minutes, Rebecca will invite you to slow down, tune in, and reconnect with the part of you that already knows what she needs — and already holds the answers.
It’s a reset.
A moment to step back, get clear, and move into 2026 with intention.
Two voices. Two stories. One shared purpose:
To open up the conversation around alcohol, autopilot living, and giving ourselves permission to live more consciously, not for Dry January alone… but for the life we actually want.
Expect engaging discussions, thoughtful questions, and a vibrant exchange of experiences in a safe, supportive space.
