Join Trevor Ring, founder of the fermentation business Community Cultures, in this fun and interactive bubbly beverages workshop. Learn everything you need to know to make two non-alcoholic (<0.5% ABV) beverages, kombucha and natural soda, at home with confidence and creativity.
Trevor will first demo the basics of making kombucha and then participants will dive into the basics of harnessing wild yeast through a hands-on activity to make natural soda. We'll finish the workshop talking about the variables for creating the ideal carbonation. Grab a ginger beer or cocktail from the bar at Jackworth Ginger Beer, taste some homemade wild soda, and walk away with handouts, a kombucha SCOBY (aka mother) and a jar of soda to ferment at home!
Workshop suitable for ALL AGES.
