Drum Making Workshop

Come join us on Sat, Oct 19, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Awaken Yourself for a hands-on experience in creating your very own drum.

Learn the art of crafting a drum from scratch, using traditional methods and materials. Ali will guide you through the process, ensuring you leave with a beautiful, functional drum that you can treasure for years to come. We will also do a journey to connect with the medicine of your drum, and offer drum circles once a month to offer an opportunity to birth your drum in a group.

Please pre-purchase a drum kit from Fur & Hide in Centralia (https://furandhide.com/product-category/native/kits/drum-kits/) and select PRE-PUNCHED holes when purchasing. In addition, please also bring a towel to work on top of.

Reminders will be sent the day before to soak your hide & lace overnight.
