Join us for a fun-filled evening at the Drum-Making Workshop with Booster Taddy! In this immersive experience, you will create your own 16” drum using traditional methods and sacred intentions. This workshop will help you connect with the spirit of the drum and its materials while engaging in the ancient practice of drum making.Drumming has been shown to aid in meditation and shamanic journeys. During this experiential workshop, you will learn to construct your very own 16" hand drum. Booster will guide you beyond the mechanics of drum making. We will be in a Sacred Space, where you will use your breath to infuse your drum with connection and intention. A drum beater is included.
The investment for this workshop is $200, which covers all materials, including a 16” hoop, hide, lacing, and beater supplies. Available hide choices are Buffalo, Deer, Elk, Horse, and Bear. Please note that Bear is an additional $50 and hides are limited; your first choice is not guaranteed.
Under Booster’s guidance, you will:
- Stretch and lace the drum
- Craft your own drum beater
