Join us for a hands-on drum building session where you’ll create your own Native-style hand drum (or other style if you prefer) using quality materials and traditional techniques. This is a 3–4 hour workshop designed to guide you step-by-step through the process of assembling your own drum and making a beater. All materials are included. Please be aware: The hides we will be using come from wild animals and will not be uniform in thickness or perfect in appearance. You may see scarring, small cut marks, or even a hole near the edge. Rest assured, only high-quality hides are selected. Your finished drum will reflect your craftsmanship and the life of the animal—these small imperfections are part of its voice and story.
