Scientific evidence exists showing the increase of cellular immune components associated with group drumming.
Bi-lateral drumming enhances the learning and thinking processes by balancing both sides of the brain.
Drumming enhances relaxation and theta-wave production producing pleasure, enhanced awareness, and release of emotional trauma.
Drumming is used to alter the state of mind and reach deep states of consciousness.

In this workshop you will create a single sided hand drum on a circular wooden frame. You will choose the size of a round frame in sizes 14”, 15”, 16” or 18” and will choose either Elk, Buffalo, Deer, Cow or Horse for the surface of your drum.

*Keep in mind it takes about 4-7 days for the drum to fully dry before playing.

Cost and Payment: Early Bird Price $375 , after Sept 1st - $400

*This cost includes the teaching, your choice of animal hide, wooden circle frame, extra long rawhide lacing, a drum stick, and use of the space we gather in.
