Full moon drum circle for the Full Corn Moon.September's Moon names tend to speak to the Harvest of Fall and pre-curser to the Autumn Equinox and all that it entails!
The Full Corn Moon is traditionally a Native American name for the September full moon, a time when corn and other crops were harvested in the Northern United States.
It is called the Corn Moon because the time of the full moon corresponded with the late summer and early fall harvest season for corn and other crops like pumpkins, squash, and beans. The full moon's golden glow historically helped farmers work late into the night to gather their harvest.
We will take advantage of the weather and have a circle around the fire. Dress appropriately for the weather, it will be a little cool.
Bring your drums, spirit guides, a snack to share, an outdoor chair and your enthusiasm.
We will be doing some medicine for the earth, drumming, healing and singing....
