Come and birth your own shamanic drum in a sacred ceremony in a beautiful space in Sussex over two days.Your drum will become your special companion as you develop a very special relationship with it through the powerful birthing experience. We will be honouring the spirit of the trees and the deer as we work and the process will be a deep and transformational one.
You can choose whether to craft a one-sided or two-sided drum and which type of hoop to work with.

Add £30 - 50 for a double-sided Inipi drum (Depending on size). Please get in touch if you would like help choosing.
You will also make your own drum beater and we will have a small cacao ceremony to help birth these beauties into being.

Aoife’s journey into sound healing began with training to be a Sound Therapy Practitioner through the British Academy of Sound Therapy. She then became a Sacred Drumming Practitioner and subsequently a Tutor (trained by Steven and Renata Ash).
Growing up in Ireland with a strong musical background gave her a love of sound and music. Aoife has 16 years of experience with the sacred and therapeutic use of sound & frequencies. She has facilitated countless 1-2-1 sessions, drum circles, and sound baths using Gongs, Crystal singing bowls, Himalayan bowls, Tuning forks, Healing Voice, Sacred Drumming, and much more.
Sound Therapy and Sacred Drumming helped Aoife cope with chronic illness which began at age 21 and provided relief and transformation. Her personal experience of the healing power of sound now feeds her dedication as a sound therapist. The deep healing that comes through the drumbeat, whilst being held in the safety of the Medicine Wheel, also drives her passion for sharing these teachings.
Aoife feels privileged to have had direct teachings from some of the most celebrated and revered teachers such as Fabien Maman, Lyz Cooper, Steven and Renata Ash, Simon Heather, and Eeshi-Ra Hart.
Aoife is also an Emotion Code and Body Code Practitioner and has trained in Usui Reiki, Angelic Reiki, Metamorphic Technique, Soul Doula Work, and Touch Drawing. Aoife is an artist and considers the healing power of creativity to be deeply transformational.
Since initially qualifying as a Sacred Drumming Practitioner back in 2012, Aoife continued her training to be a tutor with Steven and Renata Ash and is now a tutor for the College of Sound Healing, teaching the new Drum Healing Practitioner course and Drum Birthing workshops. It is an honour to have received the teachings through this spiritual lineage connecting to Grandfather Wallace Black Elk, and Aoife holds the vision of the Rainbow Medicine Circle deep in her heart.
