Birth your own powerful Medicine Drum WorkshopThis is a two day workshop
Each day 10am-5pm
The drum is a powerful healing tool that has been used for thousands of years for inner healing, meditation, journeying and community ritual and celebration. The sound has the power to synchronise the brain hemispheres helping us access a state of consciousness to heal ourselves and others.
Birthing your own medicine drum in ceremony is an inward, reflective, beautiful, life changing experience. It connects us to the deepest part of ourselves, to the first heart beat we heard in the womb, our own heartbeat, and the womb of all creation. It shows us our medicine for self-healing and sharing this with others.
This 2-day workshop will give you the opportunity to create in a sacred way from your heart space; to be able to witness your own story, your imprints, unravel, observe your own creative process, how you create in life, and weave your prayers and intentions into your work through this sacred gift we are all born with, creativity.
To make together holds such power, come join us in ceremony as we discover, play, create, and deepen our connection to nature and ourselves through birthing our drums in community.
What to Expect
> 2 days creating your drum in ceremony, honouring the land, the deer, and the tree from a place of deepest respect, love, and gratitude.

> A kind, nurturing, safe space to explore a deep connection to self and nature, guided by Dagmara Childs, an experienced and accredited Shamanic Practitioner and teacher.

The drum hoops are chosen for their highest quality and craftsmanship and are ethically and sustainably sourced in the UK.
The hides are ethically and sustainably sourced from Scotland. They are handmade using traditional techniques. Each hide is worked in a slow and respectful way to honour the animal’s life.
Prior to each drum birthing workshop each hide is prepared in a loving and respectful way to honour the animal’s life, working with mother earth and cosmic energies.
Cost of the 2-day workshop is £395
To secure your place a deposit of £150 is required to cover materials for the course. This is non-refundable. The deposit is required as soon as possible to enable a greater choice of wood for your hoop.

I am an accredited and experienced Shamanic Practitioner, and mesa carrier of the Rainbow Lineage of Chinchero. I am blessed to have received my teachings from medicine man Puma Fredy Quispe Singona, Ali Rabjohns, Marc Woods, and Stacy Keast.
I am also a practicing artist and qualified teacher with 20 years’ experience in teaching Art & Design from school to university level.
