Phil Whitefeather, is very pleased to offer you sacred space for his drum birthing ceremonial workshop.Phil has been holding Shamanic Drum Birthing Ceremonies and continues to birth drums for his customers world wide. His authenticity and skill-man-ship has been recognised by many world wide whom have become his customers, including The Henge Shop in Avebury in the UK.
His passion and practice of birthing drums for over 10 years runs deeply alongside his many other years and passions in facilitating Sweatlodges, holding space for various Shamanic and Energy Healing practices, Kambo detox cleansing, plant medicine ceremonies and more.......
This is a way of life for Phil who also continues to learn and, attend training to continue and deepen his own practice, and way of life.
Phil has had many appointments in life one of which being his core career as a psychotherapist and a therapeutic supervisor, whereby he began his training in 1998. This carer opened up his journey to complement his personal, spiritual and professional growth by way of following his calling to shamanism.
The Drum Birthing Ceremony:
Firstly created is a practical yet sacred space for the ceremonial workshop which holds and leads the way for this cathartic energy to align and make way for the journey of drum birthing.
To honour the spirit of the animal it once was we and the legacy of its being we shall use the hide it gifted to birth your shamanic medicine drum your drum. In reflection of this honour the same principles apply to the wooden hoop as gifted by the tree world.
Mostly depending on availability you can choose from the following:

Camel

Willow 16, 18 and 20"
Though materials are provided to make your drum beater, you may gain a deeper connection to your drum to forage solid (not rotten) wood or about 10 -15" long and fits well in the palm of your hand. Equally you may have a connection to a peace of material to make the beater head beater head, 15 to 20 square inches will be plenty.

Home made vegan or vegetarian soup for the day. Please let me know if you have any dietary requirements. Please do bring your own drinks and I invite you also to bring snacks to share too.
