Artists from Romania, Latvia, Ukraine, Czechia, Slovakia, Poland, and other parts of Europe will come together to perform traditional music and dance, symbolically banishing winter and welcoming the arrival of spring β a time of renewal, hope, and growth.
β¨ What to Expect:
π Live Performances: An hour-long festival featuring vibrant traditional songs and dances, performed by both adults and children.
πΆββοΈ Musical Procession: Artists and spectators will embark on a lively parade from the theatre, carrying the effigy of Morena, the pagan goddess of winter.
π Farewell to Winter: Following ancient customs, Morena will be cast into the water, symbolizing the end of winter.
π³ Welcoming Spring: The procession will return, carrying the Tree of Spring, bringing joy and renewal.
π Finale Celebration: The event will conclude with final performances and an unforgettable celebration of culture and heritage.
