Pre-registered formalwear dresses can be brought in for inspection and tagging from 5pm-8pm. Please note (new for 2025): The 5-7pm slot is for pre-registered dresses only; the 7-8pm slot is for both pre-registered and unregistered dresses.
The New Berlin Junior Woman's Club (NBJWC) is excited to announce our 6th annual Pop-up Boutique, an opportunity to sell your Prom, Homecoming, and Winter Formal dresses as well as cocktail and evening gowns. ALL ITEMS MUST BE CLEAN, UNTORN AND IN SELLABLE CONDITION.
For one weekend, NBJWC is the connection for anyone trying to buy or sell formal dresses. Last year we had over 500 dresses! We set up racks of pre-inspected dresses and offer dressing rooms. Sellers will receive 70% of the sale from their dresses and NBJWC will keep 30%. All NBJWC proceeds will be donated back to our community. If your dress doesn’t sell, you can pick it up or we can donate it for you.
We always have a variety of dresses including Alyce, Jovani, Amarra, Sherri Hill & Mori Lee, all sizes and colors, ball gowns, long mermaid, short, strapless, LBD and the list goes on. The only requirement is that it's a formal dress or gown (HoCo, Winter formal, Prom), clean and in sellable condition (no rips, tears, makeup, stains).
How it works: Pre-register (link in bio) and show up on January 24, 2025 from 5pm-8pm to drop off your dresses to be sold. You will set your prices. Dresses were priced from $9 - $500 for past sales. Most items sell for about 50% of their original value. You will save time by pre-registering. If you don't pre-register, you may bring your dresses (limit 5) from 7pm-8pm on January 24th to be inspected (note: you will still have to fill out a Google form to get the dresses registered).
Saturday, January 25, 2025, 10am-4pm: Come try on dresses! Bring your friends! Bring your Mom! We will open the boutique to the public. Dressing rooms will be available and we will also have a tailor onsite for free consultations.
All Sales are FINAL. Cards accepted for purchases over $300 (+4% processing fee). Cash only for sales under $300.
Sunday, January 26, 2025, 10am-1pm: Same thing as Saturday except some dresses are ½ price and we close at 1pm. (You will have an opportunity to decide if you want to participate in the ½ price sale, or pick up or donate if not sold.)
3-5pm: Pay out and pick up. Sellers will receive 70% of the sale from their goods and the NBJWC will keep 30%.
Any goods not picked up will be donated to a charity by NBJWC. All NBJWC proceeds will be donated back to our community.
