School is back in session and that means it is Salmon Spawning Season! The Ontario Science Centre team will be leading a drop-in program this Saturday (September 6) 11:00am -2:00pm.
Drop by the Breckon Shelter (#11) near parking lot F in our day-use only area.
Using a game of Jenga to model the impact the salmon have on ecosystems, learn how these fish are connected to plants and animals, and how changes can affect the ecosystem.
Then we invite you to walk to the creek (Halfmoon Valley Trail #6) to try to spot them for yourself!
This is a drop-in program, taking place rain or shine - come and go as you please! You must have a valid park permit to enter the park, but no additional cost to participate in this program.
