Community members can drop by to receive free overdose reversal training from Buncombe County Health and Human Services with the goal of empowering the community to recognize the signs of an overdose and how to respond. Everyone is welcome to drop in anytime between 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
During the drop-in, participants will:
1. Meet with a staff member for 10 – 15 minutes to discuss how to recognize the signs of an overdose, steps to administer Naloxone and follow up care once given.
2. Ask questions
3. Take free Naloxone, CPR masks, test strips, as well as handouts and resources with you.
