Unleash your inner artist in this monthly program held in the Denver Art Museum galleries, designed for older adults and welcoming for all ages and abilities. Take inspiration from your favorite artworks in the gallery with supportive feedback from artist Anna Kaye.Included in general admission, which is free for members. Join us in person on the first Tuesday of every month and experience the transformative power of art in a program that has enriched lives for over a decade. Drawing materials are provided.
In February’s session, we invite you to draw inspiration from the captivating collections in the museum's arts of Asia galleries, celebrating the 2024 Lunar New Year—the Year of the Dragon. Immerse yourself in the rich cultural tapestry by sketching dragons.
As a special activity in the spirit of creativity and connection, join our artist trading cards exchange by bringing your miniature artworks of any media to exchange. Artist trading cards are small-scale artworks that artists exchange, these miniature pieces of art are crafted and swapped among artists. The key guideline for the cards are their size, 2.5" x 3.5". Share your unique creations with fellow participants, fostering a vibrant community of artistic expression.
