Join artist Laura Sharp Wilson to draw shoes, inspired by the shoe drawings of Andy Warhol and the 1970’s and 80’s dancing days of Studio 54! Use ink, marker, and collage to render and create magical footwear for disco dancing the night away!

Meet the Artist:
Laura Sharp Wilson is a multimedia artist whose practice is focused on painting, installation, and public art. Textiles and surface pattern design have long been a huge influence on the artist and are a primary element in her work.
Wilson’s installation Hear Me was included in "Impulse: Selected Works from the Painting Center Program" in the Patton-Malott Gallery at Anderson Ranch Arts Center in August of 2024. In 2016 "Thread, Strand, Rope and Yarn" Laura’s terrazzo floor design was installed in the Eccles Theater in downtown Salt Lake City. In February and March of 2025, the artist will exhibit recent work with Aric Obrosey at McKenzie Fine Art in New York.
