Join us on Friday, 22 August for beautiful flowers, great coffee and good vibes on the terrace of Helsingin Kahvipaahtimo's Päiväkahvibaari in Teurastamo.FloweRescue ry and Helsingin Kahvipaahtimo are hosting a drop-in, donation bouquet making session on the afternoon of Friday, 22.8 starting at 15:00. We'll continue until all the flowers are tied into bouquets, probably until around 16:30 or 17:00.
Stop by, learn about *rescue flowers* and how to make bouquets, and prepare a bouquet to donate to a resident at a nearby care home. Also enjoy coffee and treats by Helsingin Kahvipaahtimo.
All ages and abilities welcome! No previous flower experience necessary.
*A "rescue flower" is a flower which, because of age or damage, cannot be sold but can be cleaned up and remain beautiful for a few days. We'll have cleaned and sorted the flowers the night before, keeping only the best ones for this workshop. And all the bouquets we make will be donated the next day to a Helsinki-area care home.
