'Drone Prompts' is a new experimental/ambient/abstract EP series conceived and curated by 4000 Records, under the artistic moniker of "Vintage Credenza".
We're celebrating the first iteration - 'Drone Prompts I' - with an afternoon of enveloping sounds, unexpected textures and angular rhythms.
This is a free entry event commencing from 2:30pm and featuring performances by Madeleine Cocolas, Spirit Lights and Tidsguiden.
Drone Prompts in concept is rather simple: John Russell (as Vintage Credenza) creates a basic drone/soundscape and sends it to a talented friend who then creates something new, drawing upon that initial sonic prompt.
The possibilities are endless.
The creations are remarkable.
3.5" floppy disks of the EP will be available to purchase at the event.
