The Drone Pilot Certification Workshop is a 2-day prep course taught by Mandy Briggs, Institute of Aviation at Parkland College.(Mandy's students have over 99% success rate of passing this exam). It is intended to prepare candidates for the Drone Pilot Certification required under the FAA's Small UAS Rule (Part 107).
January 22: 8:00 am until 5 pm with practice exams to be completed on your own in the evening.
January 23: We will reconvene at 8:30 am until lunchtime. Exams will be scheduled for the afternoon at Madisonville Community College- (2.5 miles form the extension office)
- Exams may also be taken at another time and/or place if the participant chooses to do so.
Lunch will be included each day.
The exam will take approximately 2 hours and will be scheduled at the FAA testing center. -located at Madisonville Community College. A separate fee of $175 will be paid to the testing center when exam appointment is scheduled. (Instructions and more information on this will be sent to attendees approximately 2 weeks prior to class.)
(Please note: This course covers drone pilot licensing, not drone flying instruction.)
