Join the San Antonio River Foundation and the City of San Antonio's Parks and Recreation Department for a Drive-Thru Native Tree Giveaway at Roosevelt Park. There will be 200 trees available. These FREE 1-gallon native trees need your love and care to grow and join the vibrant canopy that makes San Antonio a beautiful place to live.
Saturday's Tree list includes Chinkapin Oak, Texas Redbud, and Mexican Plum.
Due to local Covid-19 protocols, attendees will need to remain in their vehicles as they participate in the tree giveaway. Event staff will deliver the selected trees to the attendees' vehicles and place them in their cars' trunks or their trucks' beds, limiting the contact between participants and event staff. The River Foundation and the Parks and Recreation Department will provide 1 tree per vehicle.
