This is the event which traditionally kicks off our classic vehicle road events for the year.As last year, our starting point will be the Cross Hands on the A46 at Old Sodbury where our monthly breakfast meet is conveniently happening from 08:30 onwards. So you can assemble anytime from then, allowing plenty of time for the popular rolls and mugs or the full works breakfast (if you book in advance with the Cross Hand). But feel free to turn up anytime around 10:30.
At 11am we will leave for a meandering 30 mile route through the countryside, avoiding the main roads where possible, to a venue we were priviliged to be invited to last September and which those who attended were very impressed with.
Five Zeros Supercars is a fantastic facility just outside Bradford on Avon.
As well as housing a collection of super and hyper cars and the biggest TV screen you have ever seen, the venue has a very nice cafe and makes us really welcome.
Normally the venue is only open to its members, so it's a compliment to the club to be invited back and a wonderful opportunity to see something which you otherwise wouldn't. We aren't turning into a 'supercar' club - our ethos hasn't changed - this is a really great venue even without the cars in it, so just see them as a bonus and the opportunity to display your car in a superb facility.
We will give priority to paid up members as we may have to ration places, so please indicate 'going' on this event page asap to ensure your place.
Hang around there for a while, enjoy some lunch and get to know some of the new members we anticipate joining us.
All vehicles welcome within our general remit of '20s to 2000s'. It would be nice to see a few bikes and commercials join in to add to the variety, but please keep engine noise to a minimum.
As with all our events, there is no charge for paid up members.
